Graphite Portrait: Aaron Harrison
This is a graphite portrait of my teammate and very best friend Aaron "Rambo" Harrison. We raced together for several years competing at both US National Championships and the Olympic Trials. I drew this "surprise" portrait to commemorate our qualifying to race at the US Olympic Trials. I made a special trip up to Portland to give it to him. The stunned look on his face when he opened it was simply priceless. To me, the greatest reward of being an artist, is evoking a powerful emotional response with my work.
