I was asked to design the Disney Spark logo. Since Spark is a chat app, I wanted to convey that in the logo. I chose a bold, legible font and made tweaks to the wordmark. I then added the custom chat bubble shape and added the Disney Logo. I wanted to add ears or a Mickey Mouse icon to celebrate everything Disney, but it felt too kid like and we wanted it to have family appeal so they were dropped.
